It has come to my attention (or lack thereof) that my email was incorrect in the previous blog post. I'm. SO. Sorry. I'm a little spacey at times, ragazzi. 

I am readjusting the dates for now and restarting this contest! I'm sorry to those of you who tried to enter and I thank those of you who brought the mistake to my attention!

Onward and upward...

 I'm extremely excited to tell you that this week, April 1-5th, I'm going to start accepting entries for my first-ever contest.

The deetz' are these:

1. Choose a photograph you've taken that you're proud of while on vacation, traveling, etc.
2. Send it to mgk11@zips.uakron.edu by April 6th as an attachment. In the email, include Your name, hometown, where the photo was taken, the date it was taken, and a short, one sentence blurb about the photo. 
3. Starting on Monday, April 9th, the photos will all be able to be seen on the MGK Photography Facebook Page
4. You simply have to "Like." the page, scroll through the photos and vote for your favorite!
5. The photograph with the most likes by 12PM EST on MaApril 13th will win!

      So now the question is, what do you win? The winner will be able to choose something from the Mercato Nuovo here in Florence. This open-air tourist market carries a wide array of bags, scarves, baseball hats, hoodies, belts, tshirts, mugs-pretty much anything you could ever want. As the winner, you will clue me in on what you'd prefer and I'll buy it for you and ship it to you. For your information, most of the products at the Mercato Nuovo ARE souvenirs representing Florence. Other than the bags and the belts, each product is stamped with something Florentine!
